This record here....no, THIS RECORD HERE! Me basically having fun with what I think are just basic male rules of engagement. That is, being on a date or chillin' with a girl that you are so attracted, picking the right moment to ask, "is it cool if I ask can we f***?" Maybe not as blunt as that, but somewhere along them lines. I never know at what point is it cool to ask a female that lol. So the trick is to throw it in there respectfully (if thats even possible). I knew we needed a feature because it sounds like one of those records. I have a short-list of artist I'd like to work with and XV was on top of that list. He came off PERFECT on it! Exactly how I imagined it would be. He's even comical in his verse, so if you want a good laugh - CRANK THIS HERE!!!!!!!

Consider this a treat for your iTunes!

More to come.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

I just started my very FIRST Radio Promo Tour and I am pumped up about my single and the music that I'll be releasing virally! Awe man, so many ideas and projects are coming your way. Of coarse they'll be neat and organized.

This is the Dr. Dre "KUSH" joint! I mean, I don't smoke so... I "PUSH" the blunt back to whomever try to pass it to me (wack? so what - its my BDAY!) lol

The beat cranks so hard - it was only right I kick off my campaign with this here! "@Markyland" mixtape is coming baby! I just have a couple of things in store for you BEFORE we get there...

I want to try this Birthday thingy a lil different - you will now be on the receiving end of the gift giving! So, Happy Birthday to us both!

Feel free to keep up with me via markdefspeaks.blogspot.com where I log in entries about the different ppl I'm meeting and what's going on every now and then while I'm on the road and working on the album, and stuff...

I've been hard at work on my debut album, HOWEVER, I've managed to put together another GREAT mixtape for your enjoyment until all is complete! The title of this project will be.........drumroll..........."@Markyland"!!!!!!!!!"
That's right! My twitter name! Chea..

Uhm, this song here is the first release from the project! Titled "Monsters" (no bite on Kanye)... produced by The MadMan! Dude is easily one of the best "all-around" producers in DC/Maryland & VA. JB & Diego had the brilliant idea to release this on Halloween, so here we are...

We shot the video when I went Ghost Hunting for the first time! It was CRAZY! Probably never do it again, but nonetheless - a FUN and INTERESTING video came of it lol.

A "Marky Scorsese" Film. O_o

I hope y'all ready..

Where you been Mark?

YO! Its been a CRAZY start to this new year...forgive my M.I.A-ness :o)

Well, the status on me is that Im "waiting" for my date to go present my singles to Universal.

Big UPS to Lil'Weezy for them 4 Grams (Grammy's) the other night. He's a fellow label-mate of mine at Universal so that most inspiring to me. (The leap he did was funny)

Yeah - the industry insiders are all shady, in my opinion.

People do "Sale" dreams, just to "Charge" for help. Its super shady man lol

But - see the thing is that we're young. Youth will always give us "up-and-coming", the upper hand in this Poker/Chess game with the industry. No matter what industry you're in.

I've realized that no matter

how much money a person has or fame or ego, they'll ALWAYS be the same "jealous, shady, funny-acting, nice, good-willing, etc" person they are.

We all know, and say, money changes people. But it changes your address and habits lol

I'm at peace with anger - I been at peace with anger and frustration for a minute now. Im good in my space.

I have a wonderful life and an even more prosperous life ahead of me promised by God.

I know longer trip off of what's not happening, what is happening, or what COULD POSSIBLY be happening. The realization of it all is that my destiny is ultimately in Gods' hands. Thats who got me as far as I am, not an individual(s).

With that said...AB got "Producers Credit"  coming March 3rd.  Support his music

and his vision. He mastered crafted this piece of art from scratch. My bruh!

Watch what I do.

Markdef spoke.

SMH - iTUNES TOO!!! lol

I've been taken Universal lightly, tho they're not albino - AB!!! lol

Well, I forget to mention previously that, "Sheila" is also on iTunes available for DOWNLOAD!

Please support your brother and purchase it.  Check the Tutorial Video I did for us "slower followers".
